A junction -rich, organized field is in panel A (JAM white, DAPI blue). Another field with well-developed apical brush border (DPPIV red) is in panel B. Inset in the bottom right corner of panel B displays the 2D free projection max of the same. In panel C Hematoxylin and Eosin stain shows a transversal cryosection from a filter with cells treated with MnOxP for 30 min. The morphology, i.e. columnar cells forming a tight and regular monolayer, appears preserved.
